Obtained $1,900,000 Judgment – Commercial Lease with Guaranty, breached by a national restaurant chain.

This case was litigated in Daviess County Circuit Court. Judgment was obtained in Kentucky and enforced in Texas. Travis Holtrey was Lead Counsel.

Obtained a $389,000 judgment which was upheld in the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court.

This case involved a stock purchase agreement which was breached by a California Corporation who purchased a medical clinic in Owensboro, Kentucky. The California Corporation filed suit claiming the previous owner had breached the stock purchase agreement, Previous owner of medical clinic counterclaimed. California Corporation lost on the merits of its case and the judgment was entered against them on the counterclaim.

Sale of Engineering Firm, Breach of Contract

Owensboro Engineering Firm sold the company pursuant to an Asset Purchase Agreement and never received an additional payment after the initial down payment at the closing. Purchasing Company counterclaim and collected nothing on its counterclaim. The terms of the settlement paid to seller are confidential.

Settled case for Attorney, Minority Shareholder of a Professional Service Corporation, Enforcement of Shareholder Agreement

Representation of Manufacturer in a contract dispute arising from a Strategic Opportunity Agreement

Manufacturer retained services of a consultant to help develop an opportunity to manufacture products for the United States. Submissions to CHHS were not complete and were performed shortly before deadlines with improper information. Manufacturer sued Consultant. Consultant unable to enforce Opportunity Agreement. Represented Regional Roofing Company in case filed by large insurance company alleging fraud.

Case was resolved for 1/30 of the amount claimed due to lack of material proof of fraud. Travis Holtrey, Lead Counsel

Represented large regional Homebuilder in breach of contract claim alleging breach of contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
