Nearly 30 years ago, Alternative Dispute Resolution or ADR was created because of the high expense of going to court. ADR refers to settling disputes outside of the courtroom using certain negotiation, mediation, arbitration or other various methods to circumvent trial. Because of this, fewer and fewer people try cases.
At FWH, we are trial lawyers first. That said, as a part of the process we will use mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) as tools to see if we can get the case resolved without the need for trial.
